Starting October 2013, CO SAIGON will cruise daily on Saigon River following mainly two itineraries between Hochiminh City, Cu Chi and Can Gio, on joint tour basis, and with a maximum capacity of 20 passengers + 5 crew members including an English speaking tour guide.
CO SAIGON will be available for private chartered cruises for groups of 20 pax maxi, and ideal for corporate and business meetings, cocktails, family parties or anniversaries, on itineraries in and from Hochiminh City to Can Gio biosphere reserve or to some spots in Mekong delta.
Later this year, exciting dinner cruises will also be planned daily, with different cuisines and wines themes.
With 80 feet length (24m) and 15 feet beam (4,5m), Co Saigon will be able to carry up to 25 passengers comfortably seated, with the choice between the 40sqm air conditioned indoor salon (equipped with 2 bars, 1 bathroom/wc cabin, sofas and tables) and the 16sqm open air back side U shaped deck. The ultra shallow draft (1,1 feet/ 0,60m) will allow the cruises on small canals, under low bridges and during low tides. Co Saigon will be the first luxury river yacht of its kind in Vietnam to offer exclusive cruises to the hidden paths of Can Gio, listed biosphere reserve by UNESCO, one of the largest wildlife sanctuary in Vietnam, as well as to Cu Chi with direct access by the riverside to the famous underground network of tunnels built by the Viet Cong during the second world war.
Unforgettable dinner-cruises will be operated with a different theme menu and cocktails every evening.
Private charter cruises will be available on request to any spots on Saigon river, as well as for special occasions (cocktails, anniversaries, corporate business meetings, etc.)
The interior offers a beautiful contemporary design combining luxury furnitures and materials such as Oregon pine (parquet floor), Tanzania teak wood (doors, walls) and Italian brass (indoor and outdoor finishes), Italian marble (bar, toilets), ebony wood tables with cast aluminum feets by famous Quasar Khanh designer. Entertainment on board will be assured by Bose sound system, as well as by 2 x 29 inches flat wall TV and VDO player with movies.
The very best of the modern technology will be onboard, motorized by a brand new 185 HP Baudouin diesel engine imported straight from the worldwide famous French factory; Betaset generators by Betamarine (UK); High tech water treatment, pumps system and electric marine toilets by SPX Johnson (Sweden); Lit by 40 interior led lights from Hellamarine (NZ); A 1km scope search light by Seematz (Germany); among other amenities.
Safety will be a top priority with 4 emergency rafts, life jackets, buoys, a fully equipped command room with the most modern equipment (GPS; UHF- VHF radio; Satellite phone)
