Day 1: Sai Gon - My Tho - Ben Tre - Chau Doc (L)
8:00 AM Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (to be advised) and depart for My Tho. Take a leisurely boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal which is bordered by traditional stilt houses and fruit plantation. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. After trekking through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son island, enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motor boat. Proceed to Chau Doc with 4 hours driving. After reaching Chau Doc, transfer to the top of Sam Mountain, a popular pilgrimage site, where you will enjoy sweeping views of the countryside as the sun sets.

Day 2: Chau Doc - Tra Su - Can Tho (B,L)
Depart at 08.00am for the Chau Doc River Life tour. Start your travels with a journey along the Mekong on a traditional sampan and visit a lively floating market with its many boats selling local fruit and vegetables.
Your journey will then take you to a Muslim Cham village. The Cham people’s ancestry dates back to the Kingdom of Champa, an empire which stretched from Hue to the Southern Mekong Delta from the 7th to 18th centuries. Discover Cham village life as you visit traditional Cham stilt homes and a local mosque to see this fascinating community and its traditional way of life.
After that, a journey by car on the Tra Su Ecological Gem trip. The Tra Su Nature Reserve is an ecological haven with colonies of bats, over 100 species of water bird, endless waterways and abundant greenery. Walk through this magical secluded forest and voyage through the avenues of half-submerged trees by boat. Reconnect with the glories of the natural world as you enjoy a peaceful afternoon in this protected and unspoilt reserve. See some of the fascinating flora and fauna, and especially the array of birdlife, with the help of your expert guide.
Car transfer to Can Tho with 2.5 hours driving to spend the night. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho City.
Day 3: Cai Rang floating market - Ho Chi Minh (B,L)
After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is at its liveliest at this time of day. Keep cruising through the small channels system, stopping off to visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the "Monkey Bridge" in the Delta. Break for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City via Vinh Long to visit the local snake market. Finish the trip at your hotel around 5pm. End of services.
